The range of options available for education and schools in Hervey Bay is amazing for a town of this size. We have everything from day care and pre-schools right through to a trade college and a university campus. In between there are government and private schools and high schools that are as good or even better than other larger towns in Queensland.

Primary Schools

There are private and government primary schools located throughout Hervey Bay from Urangan through to Eli Waters. While some of them have been established for many years they are all modern and well-equipped and are able to deliver outstanding educational results for your children.

High Schools

There are two government high schools and three private high schools in Hervey Bay. The government high schools in Hervey Bay are located in Urangan and Pialba and the standard of education is obviously high because students from these schools regularly appear in the top results for Year 12 in Queensland.
