The Fraser Coast Sports Precinct, a major sporting precinct on land in Nikenbah is a multi-stage development across over 60 hectares of land, and will provide more than 50 sporting fields and playing surfaces catering to football (soccer), AFL, rugby league/union, hocky netball, tennis, touch football and Oz.

 

The Precinct responds to existing needs within the local community for additional capacity and higher quality sporting fields and playing surfaces, as well as supporting amenities and facilities. It will also significantly enhance the capacity for Fraser Coast to hose regional, state and even national competitions and carnivals.

The Precinct is a major sporting facility in the Fraser Coast providing suitable capacity and playing fields/surfaces, as well as ancillary amenities and facilities, to meet the needs of local/regional sporting events, competitions and carnivals (such as Masters Games, state championships, etc.). Once operational, the high quality precinct is expected to result in the attraction of major sporting competitions, events and carnivals, leading to increased visitation and visitor spend to the regional economy.
